Well, I finally got the binding on the classical I am building-Here are some pics of the progess:

Don, Thanks for the compliment.

Hesh, The gold purfling is Ceylon satinwood I milled myself-It has incredible "shimmer" and color,nothing like it-one of my favorite woods.
This is the same shop I have have been in.

The back and sides turned much darker after finishing.

Wow, Brad!!! This may be my favorite guitar I've seen on the forum. I love the wood and the look of that satinwood is super. It has a very vintage look. Are you selling that purfling?

Yes, the rosette is pink ivory wiith sapwood.

Scooter,
It is Brazilian rosewood-I just put some water on it for the picture (and to raise the grain for sanding).
I am going to use either brushed varnish or French polish for the first time-I've only used nitro up to this point.
